Design

This is a faithful reproduction of an Ibanez TS-808 Tube Screamer guitar effect pedal.   The effect uses two NPN silicon transistors and a JRC4558D op-amp with two 1N914 diodes.

Modifications

The only modification to the original Tube Screamer is true bypass.  You'll have a difficult time telling the difference between this and a stock Ibanez TS-808 Tube Screamer effect pedal.

Controls

  • Level controls the volume level.

  • Tone controls amount of treble.

  • Drive controls the amount of overdrive/distortion.

  • ByPass engages the pedal on/off.

Finish

This pedal has true bypass using a 3PDT heavy duty stomp switch. Powered by a 9V, negative post AC adaptor (not included), or battery.

All Pfeiffer pedals are hand-wired and finished with attractive laser printed lettering sealed in a polymer coating.
